October 20, 26-27-28, 2018
Calgary residents can soak up of the Venezuelan culture by heading to the different venues where the 6th Venezuelan Culture Days will be celebrated on October 20, 26-27-28, 2018.
During these days you will see multiple expressions of Venezuelan culture and folklore, including film, music, dance and food. “Venezuelan Culture Days” is an annual event, aimed at promoting multiculturalism and ensuring the preservation of traditions through generations of Venezuelans-Canadians.
Attendees can enjoy performances by JOROPO JAM (Concert), and ExpresARTe Theatre Club and Gato Negro Spanish Theatre, who are presenting the theatre play “SALTO ATRÁS“. Also, there is a chance to watch Venezuelan films “PAPITA 2DA BASE” and “LUISA”. The last day, they will present the TASTE OF VENEZUELA with food, music, folk dance and crafts of Venezuela. That day, families will have a unique opportunity to taste some of the typical food from the South American country: arepas, cachapas, cachitos, pastelitos, tres leches, polvorosas, quesillo, and much more.
