Western Canada High School to host Music for Minds benefit concert

Music for Minds.

The student-organized benefit concert event brings music to the conversation about mental health. Ana D’Aubeterre and Allie DaSilva, members of the WCHS Interact Club, talk about this fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for the Canada Mental Health Association (CMHA) – Calgary Region. The Interact Club aims to raise $10,000.

Music for Minds will feature the following local Calgary artists: I am the Mountain, Matt Blais, Brett McCrady, The Heirlooms, and Yvette.

Attendees will enjoy folk, indie, and rock music, and it will be a night to learn more about mental health!

Doors will open at 6:30 pm and the concert will be held in the Main Gym. Donations are always welcome, so if you cannot make the event or you would like to donate more than the price of your ticket, donate to the Canadian Mental Health Association – Calgary Region on their page: https://goo.gl/R4duFA
